Base 34

Base 34 is a Roguelike in early development which attempts to take literally some of the mechanics of games like Metal Gear Solid and Tenchu. You are trying to find your objective in an area densely populated with guards, who will react to your behavior. You can knock them out, avoid them, or kill them! You can eavesdrop on them for information. They will arm themselves slowly every time there is an alert, but if the alert is caused by your using a loud weapon or by them finding a dead body, they arm much faster.  Stay tuned for updates which include more features.

Although this game is a Roguelike, it handles in the manner of tactics games such as Xenonauts, Invisible Inc, etc. You have limited Time Units per turn, and every action costs some amount of TU.

System requirements are a Linux or Windows PC, about 1.5 gigs of RAM (much less actually, but just to be on the safe side), and, uh, that's about it. Executable is created with pyinstaller, and contains a python interpreter with the required dependencies already. They are built in an Ubuntu VM and a Windows VM sandbox, and while I can't assure that they will run on any computer, I am hopeful they'll run on most. Please let me know if you run into any issues and I will strive to resolve them. I have limited opportunities to test them on non-local hardware.

Note: this is in *early development*! There is a whole game here, but it's a far cry from what it will be. Enjoy!
